Born in the city of Brest in Brittany, Olivier likes to travel and spend time abroad.

It started when he moved with his parents and brothers at the age of 9 in the United States, in the State of Virginia. Since then, he always considered working abroad as a requirement. He first went to Ghana for a month as a volunteer journalist intern. Later, as his master's degree was specialised in "French as a foreign language", he started teaching French in Minnesota, United States for a year, Miskolc, Hungary for a year and Warsaw, Poland for 2 years.

He is now very inclined to teach French in Jersey.

Aside from that, Olivier is fond of photography, sailing and playing music.
