A new EU Regulation, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into effect on 5th May 2018. Its purpose is to protect people’s personal data better.

We use your personal data for internal purposes and to send emails and e-newsletters to inform you of all of our current and upcoming activities.

Your personal data : We use your personal data for the routine course registration procedures of students and members. We keep your information so that if you decide to come back, we can have a history of what course you have followed and advise on which class you can join. If you would like to be removed from our database, please send us a message to info@afjersey.com mentioning “remove me from database”.

Newsletter : We only register you to the newsletter if you have requested to. You may unsuscribe from it at any time by clicking on the “unsuscribe” button at the bottom of the newsletter.

Emails : We use emails to communicate with you about your registration, classes and our upcoming courses and cultural events. If you do not wish to receive email communications from us any more, do let us know by sending an email mentioning “remove me from mailing list” to info@afjersey.com.

As a reminder, the Alliance Française is a not for profit organisation. We do not share your data with any third parties and we make sure to collect and store any data securely.
