Aurélia comes from the West Indies and was born in Guadeloupe. She moved to France at the age of 8 and lived in the South of France and Lyon. She graduated from l'université Lumière Lyon with a university degree to teach French as a foreign language and of sciences of languages.
Aurélia worked with children as an activity leader and taught French to various different public in the South of France and in Lyon to asylum seekers, unaccompanied foreign minors, children and teenagers. She then flew to Latvia where she lived for two years, first as a volunteer for the European solidarity corps and as a teacher for French and English to adults and children.
When she is not at the Alliance, she loves travelling, going to the sea, hiking, reading, cinema, music and especially Latvian songs and discovering new things.
