Originally from Quimper in Brittany, Aurélie moved to Jersey where she reunited with some of her family that settled here 100 years ago.
After getting her Master's degree in FLE (French as a Foreign Language) in Brest, where she specialised in didactic in language learning, Aurélie did an internship in Germany for three months. She then moved to work in schools in the States and Hungary. She tought French to beginners at the Luther College in Iowa, and helped students prepare for their French baccalauréat at the lycee Pétöfi d'Azsód in Hungary.
When she is not at the Alliance, Aurélie loves visiting cultural and historical sites, but also watching films and hiking.
