As the migration of his tribe is imminent, Yakari the little Sioux leaves for the unknown to follow the trail of Little Thunder, a mustang reputedly untamable. On the way, Yakari will meet Big Eagle, his totem animal, from whom he will receive a superb feather... and an incredible gift: the ability to talk to animals. Alone for the first time, his quest will take him across the plains, to the territory of the terrible cougar-skinned hunters... But how to find the tipi's trail?
